Frequently asked questions

Is this truly 100% organic?+
Yes. Our beans are certified organic, meaning they're grown without any synthetic pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilisers. Every origin (Mexico, Papua New Guinea and Nicaragua) is fully certified organic.
Should I order whole bean or ground?+
Whole bean stays fresher longer and lets you grind fresh before each brew for maximum flavour and aroma. Choose ground if you don't have a grinder or prefer convenience, and we'll grind it fresh for you.
What grind size should I use?+
It depends on your brewing method: Coarse for French press and cold brew, Medium for pour-over and drip, Medium-fine for Aeropress, and Fine for espresso. If ordering ground, let us know your brewing method.
Does organic coffee taste different from regular coffee?+
Many people find organic coffee tastes cleaner, brighter and more complex, as healthy soil supports well-developed flavour compounds. You're tasting pure coffee, not chemical residues.
Can I make espresso with these beans?+
Absolutely. This blend works excellently for espresso, producing rich crema, balanced flavour and full body. Use a fine grind and extract for 25 to 30 seconds. It's great straight or as a base for milk-based drinks.
How should I store the beans?+
Store in an airtight container in a cool, dark place away from heat, light and moisture. Avoid the fridge or freezer, as moisture and food odours can affect flavour. Use within a few weeks of opening for best taste.
Can I use this for cold brew?+
Yes. This blend makes exceptional cold brew: smooth, naturally sweet, low-acid and refreshing. Use a coarse grind, a 1:4 ratio of coffee to water, and steep 12 to 24 hours in the fridge.
